It is my sincere pleasure to finally open the doors to Acupuncture Business Academy (ABA)! This is a place for new and experienced acupuncturists as well as students to come for comprehensive business and marketing education designed just for acupuncturists.

I invite you to learn more about the ABA by reading the information below and attending the NEXT live seminar. I believe in full transparency and you will quickly learn that my goal is to help you plan, build and grow your acupuncture practice (and income) beyond what you thought possible (without getting a second job!)

Acupuncture Business Academy was created by me (Lisa Hanfileti, LAc) but it was inspired by (and is dedicated to) YOU, the tireless acupuncturists who have sacrificed so much to help people achieve health and peace of mind through the power of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

I almost lost my entire practice in 2005 after a series of unexpected circumstances caused me to get slapped with a $17,000 tax bill. It was a moment I’ll never forget and it forced me to face my deepest fears about business, money & marketing as well as my own sense of self worth. I made a promise that I would learn everything I could about good business management and straighten out my acupuncture practice (and financial picture). But my promise did not end there. I also promised that I would then turn around and teach other acupuncturists what I learned so they never had to experience what I went through. I want you to stop struggling and experience a rewarding career as a successful acupuncturist.

Acupuncture Business Academy is the culmination of all of my intense research, training, interviews, surveys and work with professionals in a variety of fields including, business, marketing, web design, accounting, sales, media buying, advertising, online marketing, search engine optimization, blogging, Facebook advertising, coaching, copywriting, public speaking… oh, and I even squeezed in a little time to lean more about AOM! After all I still run a full time practice and love seeing my patients.

Acupuncture Business Academy has 8 components that have all been designed with purpose and intention.  Like any school curriculum there is a stepwise process that follows the same learning progression that made you a skilled acupuncturist, herbalist and provider of all things AOM.  In other words, if you can complete the course work required to become an acupuncturist (which obviously you can), then you can apply that exact same skill set to achieving business and marketing success through the Acupuncture Business Academy program. I have taken the extra step (and expense) to make sure you get Professional Development Activity (PDA) credit for continuing education whenever possible as certified by the NCCAOM.

Acupuncture Business Academy will eventually be available in multiple formats including live seminars conducted in cities and colleges throughout the USA, in virtual classrooms for distance learning and as videos, audios and printable documents. These multiple formats allow you to learn in the best environment (including the option of your own home) and at your own pace while still receiving live, personalized support.
